National Enhances Sustainable Efforts with FSC Certified Wood
Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Certified wood is now available for National Office Furniture’s casegoods, table products and select seating models. National has received FSC Chain-of Custody certification as assurance that wood based materials in National products come from forests that meet stringent environmental, social and economic standards.

EnvyWorks Achieves SCS Indoor Advantage™ Certification
Already earning Scientific Certification Systems Sustainable Choice™ Gold mark, National’s EnvyWorks casegoods recently achieved SCS Indoor Advantage certification by meeting indoor air quality criteria.
The criteria for the Indoor Advantage Certification are based on the Furniture Emission Standard (FES) established by the Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturer’s Association (BIFMA). Indoor Advantage certificaion can help contribute points towards earning a USGBC LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) rating. Evaluated by SCS and adding to National’s extensive list of certified products, this indoor air quality recognition further demonstrates National’s strong commitment to sustainability and providing furnishings that enhance the environments where people work.
