Ardea Light Receives International Red Dot Award for Product Design

Ardea Light Receives International Red Dot Award
Ardea is a result of collaborative engineering and design development between Yves Behar’s San Francisco-based studio, fuseproject, and Herman Miller. Its movement stems from flexible hinges at its base and fixture head, allowing for infinite adjustment of light for personalized illumination.
In addition, its compact mini-fluorescent 13-watt bulb is low-energy consuming, while all materials and manufacturing processes have been developed for minimum environmental impact.
The red dot award originated in 1955 and has become one of the largest and most renowned design competitions worldwide. It consists of three categories, including product design, communication design, and design concept.
